Rental age
- 22 years for economy group vehicles
- For upper group vehicles to be 30 years and older (Skoda Superb, Peugeot 508, Audi A3)
- For luxury group vehicles, be 35 years of age or older. (BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, etc.)
Credit card usage and deposit
- Credit card payment is made if requested.
Duration of driver's license
- At least 2 years for economic group vehicles
- At least 3 years for medium group vehicles
- To have a driver's license of at least 5 years for upper and luxury group vehicles
Since the above prerequisites will be required during the rental, you can pick up the vehicle if you have your driver's license and credit card with you. Non-Turkish customers are required to have a passport and a document showing that the date of entry into Turkey is shorter than 6 months.
Prepaid booking conditions
Our cancellation and refund conditions for the car you rent from Gen Rent A Car are as follows:
1- If the rental time is more than 1 hour, you can cancel your reservation without any reason. The full reservation fee will be refunded to the credit card you provided at the time of rental within 7 business days.
2- If the vehicle is delivered earlier than the rental period after pick-up, no refund will be made for the remaining days.
3- Cancellation notices must be made in writing to info@genrentacar.com or verbally to our reservation center via telephone number 0 850 757 72 05.
Payment on-site booking conditions
You can cancel for free.
In order to finalize your reservation, payment of the rental fee may be requested by our authorities 24 hours before your rental. If you do not wish to pay, we may cancel your booking.
Cancellation notices must be made in writing to info@genrentacar.com or verbally to our reservation centre at 0850 757 72 05.
Gen Rent A Car Rent Conditions
In the following cases, the Exempted Accident Coverage will be invalid and the damage that will occur will be excluded from the insurance coverage:
- To make the vehicle available to someone other than the persons whose names are written on the lease contract,
- Using the vehicle outside the normal conditions of use (using the vehicle with high engine temperature, poor road conditions or walking on a flat tire, filling the vehicle with the wrong fuel and other similar situations),
- Using the vehicle outside the traffic rules (exceeding the legal speed limits, passing through red lights and other similar violations),
- use of the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs,
- A load carried in the vehicle causes damage or accident,
- Careless and unprecautionary use of the vehicle (failure to adjust the speed according to the road conditions in wet weather, not to follow the vehicle in front at least safe distance and other similar uses),
- Failure to notify the customer of an accident or theft that has occurred immediately to the contact phones to be given, leaving the vehicle at the scene of the accident (except in the case of a preventive situation determined by a doctor's report),
- Failure to receive the necessary reports (traffic and alcohol report) from the relevant authorities within 48 hours in an accident that occurs,
- Failure to hand over the original key in case of theft of the vehicle.
- Failure to deliver the vehicle without approval and despite the expiration of the rental period,
- Damage to the vehicle or on the opposite side due to the loads carried in the vehicle,
- Damage to tires, glass or headlights is not included in the Exempt Accident Cover. This coverage can be purchased separately.
- The amounts of financial compensation arising from the damage caused to 3rd parties are covered under the compulsory liability insurance coverage. The customer is responsible for the amounts that fall outside the margin limits.
Services and products that are excluded from Gen Rent a Car prices:
- Non-Exempt Accident Assurance (Top Cover)
In the event of an accident, it is the assurance that will eliminate the tenant responsibility in varying amounts depending on the group of rented vehicles.
- Mini Damage Assurance
It is an assurance package that covers mini damages up to 2,500 TL that occur in places such as parking etc. without any collision with a third party with the customer's declaration. There is no need to make a report. If the amount of damage is over 2,500 TL, a report must be obtained.
- Lastik Cam Far (LCF)
Kiralanan araçta kazaya bağlı olmadan oluşabilecek Lastik, Cam ve Far hasarlarına sağlanan güvencedir.
- One Way Fee
If the vehicle is to be rented or delivered at a different point from the specified stations, a one-way fee will be applied.
- HGS
Usage fee for HGS service used in toll highway and bridge crossings and in addition 9 TL / rental service fee is charged separately from the rental fee.
- Additional Driver
If the driver's license is shown and complies with the rental prerequisites (except the deposit prerequisite), a fee of 40 TL/day is charged for the second driver and each subsequent driver.
- Baby and Child Seat
Baby and child seats can be provided to the vehicles. If you specify it during your booking, our bookers will inform you.
- Lease Change Requests
- Changing the return date and time (extension/early return)
- Change of turn station
- Vehicle group change
- Request to add additional drivers to the contract
- Time offset
- The rental period is 24 hours. An amount of 30% of the daily rental price may be requested for each one-hour late delivery. Delays in vehicle delivery without approval may cause the Insurance Benefit Coverage (Full or Exempt Accident Assurance) to be disabled or may cause additional time difference fee to arise.
- Traffic Fine Service Expense
The renter is responsible for the traffic fines arising from the use of the vehicle during your rental, Gen rent a car will demand the penalty fee from the tenant separately even if he pays the penalty fee to the relevant institution.
- Booking Conditions
The reservations you make through our website are valid with the following conditions:
- The information entries you have made from our site are made in a secure environment. Following the completion of the booking, you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided confirming that a reservation has been received as specified. You must keep this e-mail, you will not be able to reach this e-mail through the site again. You agree in advance to send an e-mail for marketing and announcement purposes by Gen Rent a Car to the e-mail address you have given during the reservation. Likewise, you agree to send the relevant marketing SMS to the mobile phone number you have provided.
- In case of inconsistency that may occur in reservation information such as price, vehicle group, rental dates, Gen Rent a Car records will be taken as basis. Gen rent a car will not be held responsible for typos or possible missing information.
- In case of a request to change the booking conditions you have made (change the return date before or after, changing the return station, changing the vehicle group, adding an additional driver to the contract), the request cannot be met, and if it is met, an additional fee may be requested or a discount may not be made in the rental price.
- In the case of rentals to be made from some airports, the boarding card may be questioned. For detailed information, please call the call center at 0850 757 720 05.
- The lease contract will be signed during the rental. Even if you have made a reservation, Gen rent a car may not deliver the car if it deems it necessary. You can call our call center for detailed information.
- Although it is not a common application, the selected vehicle make and model in the reservation you have made can be replaced with an equivalent vehicle.
- Although all precautions have been taken to avoid any problems on your journeys, please call the contact phones that will be notified to you in case of a possible need.
- The reservations you have made on our site are valid if the "Car Rental Conditions", "Price Conditions" and "Site Terms of Use" are read and accepted by you.
